EXPERIENCE

International Business Machine (IBM) – Denver, CO

Social Media Strategist, Sept 2013 – May 2017

As lead Social Strategist for IBM Watson Commerce, I created digital experiences that gained trust and built community— adhering to IBM Social Business Guidelines. I set goals and determined objectives that drove business results (grew social KPIs over 2x in 2016 and put in place a foundation to track IBM.com clicks). I analyzed report progress on engagement, community growth, and paid social effectiveness to understand and advise on strategy to increase KPIs. I trained executives, SMEs, influencers, and employees on social media use and best practices. Working with multiple stakeholders, I also wrote copy for blogs and social posts (tweets, Facebook posts, LinkedIn company showcase page updates) and provided creative direction that positions IBM as an industry leader, engaged our audience, and generated business leads.

University of Colorado Denver (UCD) – Denver, CO

Teaching Assistant Technologist, December 2015 – December 2016

As a Teaching Assistant Technologist, I supported, collaborated, and facilitated training (in person and via web conferencing) with CU Denver faculty on online tools, course review, and instructional design best practices within Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). I co-developed online and hybrid courses, researched, recommended, and implemented instructional technologies to enhance online learning experiences.

I worked with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) on a full re-design of existing CDE online training materials for early childhood professionals that included new interactivity, video / animation, and tracking components within 14 eLearning course modules.

Additionally, I co-developed Pedago.me, a grassroots online community for Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) professionals, which includes online pedagogy, networking and job opportunities, portfolios, and blog syndication and presented Pedago.me at the 2016 Teaching and Learning Technology Symposium.

American Cancer Society (ACS) – Denver, CO

Volunteer Coordinator, Oct 2012 – Sept 2013

As a volunteer coordinator, I led talent acquisition for the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) 100th Birthday Gala event in Denver, CO. I identified, approached, and trained over 50 volunteers to assist 400+ attendees during the fundraising event, which resulted in $250,000 in donations. While I was primarily focused on volunteer logistics, I also supported cross-team coordination and facilitated communication between the caterer, venue staff, and other ACS committee members.

Faction Media – Denver, CO

Project Manager, Feb 2012 – Nov 2012

As a highly collaborative Project Manager, I led full lifecycle project management on multiple demand generation and marketing automation campaigns for 3, 500K-1M B2B accounts. I regularly partnered with key stakeholders to define strategic approaches and ensure goals could be met. I governed project scoping, estimates, budgets, and resourcing while minimizing risk and maintaining attention to detail to successfully complete agency projects. In addition, I provided creative direction, monitored/tracked workflow, and ensured distribution of proper cross-team communication.

Publicis Healthcare – New York, NY

Associate Project Manager Jan 2010 – Sept 2011

As an Associate Project Manager, my energetic leadership and positive dynamic generated successful projects and fostered innovation in a collaborative environment. I supervised and implemented agency process for healthcare collateral (digital and print) on several multi-million dollar global pharmaceutical accounts. While working closely with key stakeholders, I helped identify project scopes, budgets, schedule, and resource allocation and administered on-going risk analysis and management. I also led communication across all departments on creative direction, project tasks and changes, as well as timelines.

IOMEDIA – New York, NY

Digital Account and Project Manager, Feb 2009 – Jan 2010

As lead Interactive Project and Account Manager, I oversaw project workflow and timelines, while cultivating meaningful relationships with clients on multiple healthcare projects ranging from interactives to videos to animations. While at IOMEDIA, I wore many hats: creative direction, content producer, storyboarding, video production and post production assistance, client management, conflict resolution and compliance, task and timeline management, as well as quality control on all projects.

FCB Healthcare – New York, NY

Traffic Manager, Jan 2008 – Feb 2009

I administered full cycle project workflow on multiple million dollar US and global pharmaceutical accounts connecting account executives to other departments within the agency. To maintain the integrity of each project, I managed and maintained project tasks and timelines, promoted decision-making processes as appropriate, serving as a liaison between departments, chaired weekly status meetings, and facilitated cross-team communication.
